Adil Core · Desktop and developer runtime · In development

Local AI for everyday computers.

Useful local AI without assuming a GPU.

Adil Core is being designed as a compact, independent AI runtime for developers and applications that benefit from privacy, local execution and transparent resource requirements.

What Core is designed to deliver

  • Local text-in/text-out inference
  • Predictable execution and structured responses
  • Offline operation for installed local capabilities
  • Developer-facing runtime interfaces
  • Configurable context and resource limits
  • Benchmarkable CPU performance
  • Model and runtime provenance

Hardware and distribution

Keep requirements practical.

Research objective Our research includes a distribution-size objective below 500 MB and a process-memory objective below 1 GB for selected configurations. These are engineering targets, not published minimum system requirements.

Initial desktop research: Windows, macOS and Linux. Actual support will depend on validated builds and devices.

A modular approach

The runtime is only part of the system.

Core is intended to combine inference, validation, version information, workload control and a developer-friendly integration layer. Quality and resource trade-offs will be evaluated for each supported configuration.
