ENGINEERING NOTES
Ideas, experiments and the evidence behind them.
Building practical local AI requires careful trade-offs. Our engineering notes are intended to explain what we investigate, how we evaluate a result and where further validation is needed.
Topics we plan to cover.
- Why local-first AI matters: the deployment constraints that shape useful AI products.
- From model response to authorised action: how developers can keep control of connected tools.
- What model qualification involves: memory, latency, accuracy, supported environments and known failures.
- The road to original model research: how experiments can inform future architecture and training decisions.
Publication standard.
We will publish substantive articles only after an editorial and technical review. Planned topics are not articles, and unpublished experiments should not appear as verified conclusions.
