ADIL EDGE SDK · TROUBLESHOOTING
When the first integration does not work.
Neither the Eco V1.1 A3b model nor the SDK is publicly released: there is no download, package or installer, and nothing on this page announces one.
Start with these checks
- Are the engine library, host and SDK from the same release?
- Does the model file match the pinned SHA-256?
- Did you pass an absolute path to a directory your application owns, rather than relying on the search path?
- Is the machine an Apple silicon Mac? Other platforms are not supported.
- Is your Python 3.9 or later, or Node.js 18 or later?
Symptoms
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| The engine library or host is refused at open | An older or mismatched component, or loader variables pointing elsewhere. | Use one matching set. Do not use loader environment variables to redirect components. |
| The library loads but is rejected as a different file | The loader mapped a different image than the one you selected. | Remove same-named libraries from loader search directories. |
| macOS blocks the downloaded binaries | The candidate is ad-hoc signed and not notarised. | Follow the instructions supplied with your candidate package. A released package will state its signing identity. |
| Every tool call becomes a proposal | Arguments the user did not write, or the tool is registered as confirmation-required. | This is intended. Show the proposal to the person. |
| A lookup that uses an earlier tool result is denied | Default denial after a tool result when the argument was never written by the user. | Choose the review-by-person setting for such flows, and show the person the unverified values. |
| The Node request never completes | No timeout is set. | Set the request timeout and the maximum pending requests. |
| Answers differ between runs | Sampling. | Use deterministic settings with a fixed seed; output is identical only on the same build, model file and thread count. |
| Numbers or units in an answer differ from the tool result | Known limitation of the model. | Display tool data separately and verify numbers in your application. |
